The Oriole Lane Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) invites you to "Soar to Success" with us!
What is the PTO?
The PTO is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich, maintain, and sustain the education of the children of Oriole Lane Elementary School through collaboration and communication between parents, staff, administrators and students.
What do we do?
- We work to enrich students' daily school experience by providing funding for classroom materials, books, furniture, equipment, technology, and other items or experiences that create an exceptional learning environment. We do this by collecting PTO membership dues and fundraising throughout the school year.
- We strive to create a strong school community by planning and executing monthly events. Some favorites include our Ice Cream Social, Monster Mash Halloween Dance, Carnival, Field Day, and many more! Additionally, we coordinate room parent volunteers for each classroom to facilitate parent/school communication and involvement.
- We provide regular and thorough communications to PTO members, both electronically and via member meetings, to ensure awareness and understanding of school programs, events, and educational opportunities.
Why should you support your PTO?
- Your donations directly fund programs and enrichment materials for your child.
- Your $25 membership fee includes access to our online school directory, voting rights on budget items and mini-grant requests, as well as an invitation to our three PTO meetings per year where you can make your voice heard.
- It's a wonderful way to connect with other parents, families, and educators, and create a sense of belonging for you and your child(ren).
